Rakesh Roshan Diagnosed with Early Stage Cancer

New Delhi: Rakesh Roshan, an Indian producer, director, screenwriter, editor, former actor and music director in Hindi films. He has appeared in 84 films throughout the 1970s and 1980s till 1989. He has mostly worked as a supporting actor starring with Sanjeev Kumar and Rajesh Khanna. Later he got famous for making the movies starting with the letter ‘K’.

Rakesh  Roshan has always been a strong leader. He came out of the trauma of the attack on him on 21 January 2000, when Rakesh was shot by two Budesh gang members near his office on Tilak Road at Santacruz West. One of the shot one of which hit him on the left arm, while the other grazed his chest. And now he has been diagnosed with Throat cancer and is taking the disease on with ‘ full courage’.

Today, 8th January, Hrithik Roshan posted a picture of him and his father standing together at gym , wishing his father good health. From the post it got revealed that Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat.

Hrithik Roshan in the morning on instagram quotes “ Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldn’t miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him. Love you Dad.”

After the post there was a flood of messages from the fans saying ‘Get Well Soon’ or long messages wishing good health to Rakesh Roshan.
